4R passenger door latch

How do you adjust a passenger door latch?
My front passenger door has started rattling, and it feels just a little loose, like the door latch needs to be adjusted to make the door close a little more.
Problem is, I can't figure out how to tighten the latch.
We had this problem on every Chevy we had growing up, and you could just loosen a couple screws, move the catch on the doorpost, tighten the screws, and the rattle would go away. But the doorpost catch on the 4Runner doesn't seem to have the same adjustment capabilities (the screw holes are round instead of oval), so I'm wondering if there is ANY adjustment available...?
Of coruse I could try to bend the latch with a BFH but I don't want to bend anything, that's what makes more noises.

That's what I tried, but there's nowhere to move it... it's a round hole and the backside of the screw head is conic so the latch goes to the same position every time.
