3vze blown head/worth fixing?
-My '90 3vze had the recall head gaskets done before I bought her 3 years ago.-
Last week I was driving and noticed i had overheated since steam was coming through my steering column. Pulled over and noticed a short hose at the top of the radiator had burst, so I walked to get one and replaced it. Filled the radiator and oil and kept driving. A few miles later I started overheated again and totally broke down. Tried adding water and it came out the bottom of the radiator. Had it towed somewhere safe and I replaced the radiator the next day. Tried filling the new radiator and water came pouring out of my exhaust leak: right at the flange. Is that even the head gasket? There's no water in my oil.
How is there so much coming out at once? What could the initial problem have been to overheat it? I had just gotten a smog check and my nox was way too high. I should have addressed that sooner, I suppose.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm not sure where to go from here.
