Question 3vz-e Head gasket.

I have a 1990 4runner with a 3vz in it. I want to know how to tell if either one of the head gaskets has been replaced?? The passanger side has 12pt head bolts, and the drivers side has 6pt head bolts. If they have not been replaced...is there a recommended head gasket to put back in it??

Thanks

Im not positive but judging by the two different headbolts, id say atleast one of them have been replaced.

www.engnbldr.com is one of the best places to get headgaskets as well as other toyota motor parts from. He is a very popular guy around here. His 3.0 headgasket/headbolts sets are usually on ebay and can be picked up for around $140 bucks. Thats where i got mine from.
