Another vote for 33x10.50R15s. I like them. I have same kind of tire set (BFG AT) in my garage waiting when the old ones are worn out.

Not really... it's still concerning 33x10.5 tires... I wouldn't suggest having the rim size near the same width as the tire. Because if you think about it, if you put a 33x10.5 on a 15x10 rim; the tire is only 10.5 inches at the widest point of the sidewalls...

I'm just worried if I air down my tires while wheeling my bead would break loose. Any comments/suggestions? Thanks!

Don't mean to highjack but it is related...
Can anyone offer any feedback on how 33x10.5 would be with a 22re automatic transmission and 4.88 gears? I'm not expecting to win any drag races, but would still like it to move.

I really like 4.88's with 33x10.5 with manual tranny. Given how tall the overdrive is in the automatic, I would go 5.29 if you can. You will have a hard time holding overdrive on anything remotely up hill.

hmm. I got a screaming deal on a pair of factory 4.88 thirds that already had lockers. I haven't installed them yet. Maybe I could just sell them and get 5.29's... Thanks for the input.

4.88's would be OK - I just think you would be happier with 5.29's with the auto tranny, especially at altitude with the 22RE - I have 3VZE, so a little more power.
If it was such a screaming deal, just get 5.29's and master install kits, and sell the 4.88's and you'll still have gotten a good deal! Plus, you can take the thirds to have the gears setup and save a lot of money on install (should be around $200/axle for install).
Which lockers? Both front and rear?

They are factory 4.88's. The only replacement on that rear 3rd as far as I understand it is another set of toyota factory 4.88's. If I remember correctly the rear is a Detroit Locker and the front is a Lock-Right (I'm at work right now but I think thats right).

Oh yeah .... forgot about that - I had 4.56 and went to aftermarket 4.88...
Now the rear, you might be OK - the Detroit replaces the entire carrier. I wonder if aftermarket gears would fit on it...
Front with a lock-rite you have the factory carrier though. I might be able to help with that - I'll send you a PM.
