3.2L 3vze stroker!
when I saw this site I couldnt help but do this:

Just me but how much do you wanna bet he is using a 3.4 crank? I think so, I did some research on building a stroker 3.0 just can't get my greasy little hands on a 3.4 shortblock or crank to compair.

Hmm... even though that is promising 200+ HP... why? You can get much higher gains from a swap and rid yourself of the 3.0 at the same time. I will agree that it IS interesting to think about though.

What would be interesting is to find out EXACTLY what crank that is as well as what is so custom about the JE pistons. Ill bet its a higher CR....
If we could figure out what exactly the kit consists of, it could be had for MUCH cheaper!

Well if someone could post the specs on the 3.4 shorty then we would be able to eliminate that.
It could be a custom ground crank as well. Although I wouldn't want to do that and weaken the crank.

Actually thinking about it, this kit doesn't have new rods does it? I'm pretty sure that the 3.4 uses the same length rods as well. Someone has to have access to this info.

Seems awful steep to me. Price/power ratio is better with either a 5VZFE of 7MGTE swap, and they have A LOT more future potential and aftermarket support...

the 5vzfe crank is the exact same crank thats in the 3vze, the displacement increase comes from increasing bore size from 89mm to 93.5mm. yea, itd be nice if the 5vz had a stroked crank that we could just drop in, but that means a different casting, and thats just not toyotas style. although, they did make the 3vzfe with a forged crank, and that will drop right into a 3vze or a 5vzfe. i think the ultimate buildup would be:
3vze block-this is the strongest of all vz series blocks, it has 3 bulkheads in the valley between the banks that the other 2 dont, increasing block rigidity, as well as thicker webbing on the sides of the block compared to the 3vzfe and 5vzfe
3vzfe factory forged crank-strongest of all vz series engines
5vzfe heads with 3vzfe cams-all stock and 3vzfe cams have a bit more lift and duration
forged rods and pistons
twin turbo- obviously stand alone engine managment
i trully believe the above setup when properly built, could hang with a modded 2jzgte in power production(500 and up) and reliability at that level of power.

Ive heard of 3vz-fe heads on a 3vze, (which is proving difficult) but 5vzfe heads? hmmmm

the bore center to center distance is the same on all the engines. i believe but not sure that the 5vzfe and 3vzfe heads may be infact the same head. maybe not, but dimensionally they are the same. again not 100% on this, but if you could bore a 3vzfe to 93.5, put in the 5vz piston, use 5vz intake and ecu, its a 5vz with different block. however, i think that the 5vz is cast with larger cylinder barrels, and without sonic testing a 3vzfe block, im not sure it could be bored that much. however the 3vze and fe both have pretty thick barrels, so it might be possible. if i could only get all 3 engines in the garage i could find out for sure! but i suspect that basically all 3 are the same, dimensionally, and certain pieces of the dies are swaped out when they were cast. and i believe the mz series are the same as well(dimensionally), infact the heads would bolt up if it wasn't for one of the oil drain holes. so actually, i would change my ultimate build to use 3mz vvti heads with a controller for the vvti, i think i could solve the oil drain problem.

That would be a pretty "experimental block" thats for sure. IIRC the 3vze can't be bored to the 3.4 size, but I could be wrong. 3vzfe and 5vzfe heads are quite simular but I do know the cams can't be swapped without some machine work at the very least.
I wouldn't want a stroker crank that was machined from a 3vze crank but maybe one from the fe wouldn't be too bad.
