3.0 v6 problem
Ok so my timing belt on my 94 yota 3.0 L broke and left me on the side of the road and i took it into my friends shop to have him fix it but its still there. The belt is back on and he lined up the marks and tried to start it and it doesn't im not sure why and he doesn't either and Its been 3 days already and i needed the truck yesterday.I know its a 3.0 and there know for these problems and i should just throw it away and put a chevy 4.3 L in or a V8 i don't have time or money to do it id like to do a 3.4 l but that's another time. So im kinda at a stand still any ideas and tips would help

My first thought is your friend may have removed the VAFM incorrectly & severed the connection. My second thought is he blew the 80 amp fuse under the hood.
However, any number of things can cause a no-start condition. Have him check for CEL codes.

I would try checking to make sure the distributor is in the correct spot and that your coil is firing. one tooth could mean a whole bunch of issues when trying to start it up.
other then that... fuses, ground wires, fuel. all fun parts of playing with toyota's

Ditto, the timing marks mean nothing without proper positioning. Make sure he's not 180 degrees out on the exhaust stroke.
Top dead center is when the #1 cylinder piston at the top of its stroke just after the compression stroke.
