3.0 Fuel injectors/ Head gasket
Two question for Yota techs.
I am doing my head gaskets, heads are off and wondering should I use Permatex Copper spray on / brush on adhesive for the head gaskets?
Been reccomended by some DIYer's. Want to do it the best I can so as to avoid doing it again soon.
I have enclosed spme pix for fun. Any thoughts on pix? Head condition after first pass of cleaning.
Also best techniques for cleaning the injectors while they are off they are off the car?
Thanks

I'm no expert but that looks like some serious pitting. Have you thought of having the heads resurfaced?
Most people send the injectors off to be cleaned and flow tested.

You ABSOLUTLY need to take those to a machine shop to see if they can be saved. I am leary that they can be saved with that much pitting. Use only the toyota head gaskets and don't spray them with anything. They have enough problems by themselves. Leave your injectors on the intake manifold and just clean out the runners and injector nozzles with brake kleen
