find a axle or machine shop that will do them. i might do that in a few months to my trd axle so the front and back match

hum ill have to call the guy that did my machine work on my engine rebuild and see what he would charge to do this. i imagine when i do sas i would just have to pull the shafts back out knock the studs out and install new one in the 6 lug holes, so that would be a win win. (probably wouldn't even have to pull the shafts back out to change the studs.

only issue is we know the backing plates breaks are different but what about the drums other than the obvious difference in lug pattern

so backing plates and breaks would still have to be swapped, or i suppose the 4wd drums could be re drilled as well.

im starting to think i might be better off buying a cheap set of used front gears and installing them myself in my rear and then going to a 8 inch when i do sas i plan on buying a complete donor when i do it as ill need the trans and transfer case as well as the front axle and both drive shafts. it would be nice to set up the rear now then when i sas i would only have to re gear the front and mount the rear spring over. if i change gears in my 7.5 ill be changing gears 3 times. (7.5 rear 8 rear and front)

just have him drill the drum at the same time as the axle.
