Here is my 1994 4Runner. I bought New Downey HD 1.5" rear coils, 4Crawler Pan bar drop bracket, Sky Jacker Nitro shocks. For the front I used 4Crawler 1.5" Ball Joint Spacers with Downey Mega Travel Ball Joints, Diff Drop kit, Sway bar drop kit, Downey Torsion bars, Sky Jacker shocks and Sky Jacker Steering stabilizer. I run 33x12.5x15 BFG Mud Terrains on 15x8 wheels. I bought a Downey IFS bracket to tie in the rear side of the A arms, but it won't fit with the Diff drop kit so I am custom building a bracket to clear with the diff drop kit and adding a skid plate that will tie into the custom front receiver, so the skid will protect everything from the rear a arm to the valance. If anybody is interested I can take photos of the build and I could fab up some brackets and skid plates as well. Just Pm me if your interested.

ive got a set of land c. coils they gave me 2.5"- 3" lift in the rear. i also purchased a brand new set of pro comp that gave me 3.5" lift. noth are for sale. the first is $25.0 + shipping the second is $50.00 + shipping. the second have about 200 miles on them. PM me for questions.

i would be alllllll over that set of procomp coils....but i'm goin with Lifted LC80 coils over the summer, so i'll pass lol

I believe he said he had them custom made from a machine shop and ended up being pretty spendy, shame too, i'd like to get my hands on some 6 inch coils and be done with it.

Question: To lift the rear of my 95 4runner would I use the front or rear springs of a FZJ 80 Land Cruiser?

I used the rear LC coils...This is how she sat on 35's with LC coils and "no" ball joint spacers. I still have to install them.

I'm currently investing in a rough country 4-5 and 2 in body lift on my limited would anyone object and how would the ride be with 35 12.5s

Personally I think that would be a bit tall...Don't really need to go that high in my opinion. 35's really slow ya down. I have an auto so that gives me 4.88's soon to be a 5spd once I get the time. So the 35's on 4.88's won't be all that bad. She does well with 33's

35's will fit with just the 4" bracket lift and MAYBE some slight trimming.

4runner is top heavy, the shorter the better

I really don't want to trim a lot but I have removed the running boards so camo I know its top heavy but is it that dangerous to lift a couple extra inches

And lumpy mine is also auto 4.88 how much will the 35 slow me down

Not sure if there is a separate thread for shock questions... But if when I install my rear LC coils I plan on installing longer Rancho 5000 (5017) shocks, will I need a longer coil bumpstop to prevent it from bottoming out?

Well, the 33's it was not too bad. I think reading 50 I'm running about 54 (right there close) with the 35's the auto was usually in D not OD and at 50 I think it was reading about 57 (I think) it's been a while since I had the 35's on it. Blew out a side wall so time to get a new set.

I think you'll do fine with the standard stops. I know some guys have spacers for the stops. Mine rusted out so I just left them off.

Thanks for the info the truck is goin to be on the highway a lot and 5.29 are to much gear for 35s at highway speed I believe

If you keep the auto you might want to change up. Well you're south so the hills aren't all that bad there. I'm going to swap out the slush box sometime soon when I have the time so I'm not going to mess with the gears. 5spd + 488's & 35's aren't all that bad, from what I have heard. I just don't like the 35's and the hills in PA, 33's are enough to slow me down. Then again the tranny sucks in this thing.

Yea the hills aren't that bad here but I take trips to Arkansas so I need the 4.88 for traveling lol

Thought this would be the right thread to post this in...so im looking to buy a lift kit from somebody off kijiji. He wants 500 dollars canadian for it, the lift comes with 4 skyjacker shocks, stabilzer, bj spacers and cruiser coils. Its a 2 inch lift kit btw and i was wondering if you guys think its worth that much. Also he said that the rear shocks were used for 2 months while the fronts are new. Thanks guys!

You'll get more than 2" out of the rear with the LC coils. Coils alone are about $100 used spacers $50 or so, Shocks maybe $50 each. Is the stabilizer you are referring to a panhard drop bracket? That will go from $25-$50. So just with my guessing 100+50+200+50=400 that's usd. So I'd offer him $400 and go from there.
