Check out Jeff Mosks page. Also ask dcg981 who is a member here. I believe with a doa engine with 8.5 to one and 14 psi it was around 245 rwhp. Never dynoed mine but I hope its better than 90.

Once you end up doing the rebuild take a look at this info:

I'm running an LCE long block and it makes more power for sure. The biggest differance I noticed was when I did a regear. Felt that in the pedal more than any other mod including the engine. Once you get the right gear, the other mods just make it that much sweeter.

I think your best and most reliable bet, with a 200k+ mile engine is to build a fresh one ($1000 MAX from a good machinist), buy Engnbldr's aftermarket head/cam/OS valves package ($500) and throw it in ($300 new clutch, resurface flywheel, various parts). Less than $2k and you'll have a fresh 22re that will last a long long time.
When I did my rebuild the only mod I did was to put in Engnbldr's 268 cam. It's not a V8, but it will hold 5th on all but the steepest hills.
Oh yeah, and I regeared - 4.88's with 33's. If the gear/tire combination is off it will be slow!
