My running hot was fake news from temp sender. Got OEM from McGeorge Toyota (new favorite store)..
Because of COVID stimulus check and because my old rad looks like it could harbor viruses... I got a CSF 2306 for my 22R-E
Seems to be very well-made in Indonesia, not in Communist Bully.. .
Apparently there are 2 core heights for 22R-E..
Measure your existing core height AND shroud. CSF website AND Summit Racing website (based on CSF's database) list 2314 for 22R-E but it turned out to be too short (core height) for mine. Returned the 2314to Summit Racing and got 2306 from Carparts.com because it was readily available and at a better price.

Mine was also fake news from an eBay temp sender, so I replaced that with an OEM one straight from the Toyota dealership locally.

I'll measure the core height, thanks for the heads up. Did you use the Mini 13 cap (CSF 4502)?

CSF 2306 on left below.
CSF application website is confusing. I had to speak with Ken at CSF, Rancho Cucamonga over the phone after I found out that 2314 did not match. He specified 2306 for my taller core and fan shroud. Could have something to do with "tow package" mentioned in Toyota Parts Deal website.
