afaik, you're kinda limited, in any case, because of the voltage and fuel requirements of the injectors and the stock EFI system

The 22re computer fires the injectors in batch mode, this means for 3/4 of the time the fuel is just turning back into a puddle (subtext: you could perfectly atomize the fuel with a fancy injector and its still going to only suck in puddles) so there is no reason to even worry about it.. Change the screen filters and move on..

Better than a carburetor? Absolutely. Once the engine is slightly warm, the fuel from the injectors is vaporized very quickly (and atomizing is an important part of that). You shouldn't get much condensing back into puddles.
