I agree with the awesome sound, I had numerous people as me if I had swapped a V8 into it when they would hear it idle...the lope from the TRD Cam didnt hurt either...

Hi. Sorry I didn't get back on this with a post. Jerald at Toyota of Dallas (TRDparts4u) got back to me but unfortunate has no info to add. Said he spoke with folks at TRD but they couldn't provide any specs. He also said "It has actually superceded to a PTR10-34840-14. Show only 3 remaining in united states" Not sure what that means exactly but I will try to talk to him this week. I know if you put in the part # at trdparts4u or at 1sttoyotaparts it does bring up a listing.
I think it depends on who you ask. I've read a couple places that say the stock manifold is as good as any aftermarket header (but I can't remember the sites I read this stuff at) Others claim big improvement with a header. I've never really seen any science to back up either stance. Might just be personal preference.

Yes it can, I had this setup before going with my cat back (well kinda, I had no cat)
And as far cats, if you are running a newer cat, with newer technology they really dont rob to many hp, if any. Espically when you look at the fine that comes with not running one. I didn't run one on my 95 and hated it, sounds, stink...I am putting a hi-flow on my 92.

I highly reccommend the LCE Header and exhaust system. I am running the header and the cat-back system. The piping is bent for 4WD so to put it in my 2WD required some heating, bending, cutting, and a little welding. The functionality is great, 5th gear pulls the hills better. Watch out though, it seems to have cost me 2-3mpg. Then again I am always in the throttle.
I am not a big fan of how it sounds. When I bought it they were offering two sizes of converters (they started emmissions testing here in sept.). I got the small one, wish I had got the bigger one, I feel the small one is choking the power and sound a little bit. But no matter to me, I like function over form. Now I want the rest of the power package, the cam and the throttle body.
I also installed their double timing chain kit. Its more noisy but it seems a hell of a lot more durable than the ÅÅÅÅ it replaced...
LCE is an awesome company.

I am supprised the whole setup cost you MPG, I saw great improvments with my downey and flowmaster, but then again...when I wanted to I threw my foot down for the sound.
