they work okay if the springs aren't sagging already, but once the spring is fatigued, the aals cause the leaf to bend in wierd ways. but not a problem for you since your truck has coils.
oh, and check www.toyteclifts.com as an option for lifting... but they use bj spacers.... so...?

Also, one of the major factors is that the procomp (and many others aswell) is a "short" style add a leaf. Its short and curves up higher to gain lift. This causes the original leafs to bend around the aal and your ride goes right back into the pooper.
The good aal's are the "long" flatter style. Not as much lift, better ride!.
But since you got rear coils, you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy the cushy ride!

Yep, thats exactly whats happening to mine. Only a TAD, thank goodness. Need to bide my time till I can throw a set of 63" chevys under the back end...
The wear (bending) on the leafs is also due to the blocks. Blocks + short AAL = W springs...

Downey makes a torsion bar lift that lifts the truck two inches also it makes the stock truck ride alot smoother on and off road, when you have 31's. The stock torsion bars ride crappy when you have larger than stock tires. Also you can use rear add a leafs. Check it out at Downey.com.

Get the wab fab lift. Its great. Its not like your gonna tear boots every time your in 4wd, and it looks good. If your worried about the cvs then do the diff drop kit. And also if your leaf sprung i would just get the blocks. I love my lift, no problems yet.

My truck has 32's and and cranked bars with a long AAL. I bought it that way, 32's are tight but they clear. I just installed Glassworks front fenders and that really opened up the front, may have to trip the firewall seam and the bump in the innder fender that comes down in the front, but other than that I think I coudl clear 35's without my issue int he front, the rear has to come up, thinking chevy 63's and some trimming?
Hoping to get a BJ spacer and BL to clear 35's. I dont wheel a ton but just started a new job where I can get back into it. Anyone have pics of 35's with no bracket lift?
