let it idle for a while...if you need to replace the whole thing what else are you going to damage, eh...

Oh I did... lol - let it warm up. CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK... Gave it a few good revs too. Sounds done for. I'm going to copy the video off my phone, hopefully the sound quality is at least decent.
