your kidding right????? you do know that plasma cutter cut with a lot of heat, and with that much heat his roof would look like an ocean (all wavy )

I used a sheet metal nibbler when I installed one in my old VW. Worked fine and did not distort the sheet metal.

Yeah, I read about that guy too. He had to buy a bigger sunroof. Ouch! Yeah, this is my biggest mod yet, so I'm for sure going to measure many many times before I cut. And of course there will be a writeup.
we used a die-grinder w/ a cut-off wheel on it. Angled the cuts for the corners then grinded them round... Took about 30mins to cut the whole thing. Used a big knife to cut the headliner.

hey death guy lol um where did you get that sunroof cover man thats sweet i looked everywhere and cant find one whats the name brand of it or website to get one and how much???

That cover is an OEM item. I'm pretty sure that other Toyotas (Celica, Cressida,?) share the same sunroof (and cover) as the 4Runners and trucks.

sweet looks like next time im in the city (milwaukee) ill be hitting up the junk ards and see if i can find one
