Ike, TC, Flygstein, et al, will back me up on this:
If you you're looking to improve offroad capability, get a locker (or two). It will do more for you than a bracket lift to enhance trail abilities.

If you want the aesthetics of a lift, lockers are useless.

Check the locker FAQ:

HTH

Edit: BTW, I'm considering going with most of the Slee/OME setup for the ride. My rear is saggy if I don't have some air in the AirLift RideControl bags. Was debating the Dakar vs Alcan leaves. Have the SAW 25mm T-bars, but i think they're too stiff for a 4 cyl. Have them completely relaxed at the moment, but also don't have the heavy skid & belly pan on either. Already have the steering dampener & BJ spacers.

Here is a link to the OME catalog. The 019R's you mention are not in their but I checked with oldmanemu.com and they are available... for $158 vs. the $100 for the 009R's. They list the 010R's as the heavy duty spring for all the 1st gen runners.

Can anyone tell me where to buy BJ spacers?
