The relay ground should be in the order of 0-0.3 ohms. Make sure you made good contact with both points... easy to not break through an oxide on the surface. Make sure you are measuring what should be a ground...

Yup definitely good contact. Disconnected it and took sandpaper to the terminal. Hooked up the Ohmmeter and it is giving me 644 ohms! Stopped by the shop today and my buddy confirmed it. I'll be surprised if this isn't the problem.

Anyone happen to know where the Circuit Opening Relay is grounded to. According to my EWD the Fuel Pump is grounded to the same location. I just can't seem to find that spot.
It's a 3rd gen pickup. 95 specifically. Thanks.

My truck had been acting similarly for months...just recently it progressed to random shutoffs as well. Everything checked out fine so i was stumped. While doing some disassembly, I noticed a HIDDEN cracking in the 3" air intake hose. I had looked for vacuum leaks before with no luck.
I know you have checked and double checked.....but TRIPLE check your tubes/hoses for leaks. Mine acted differently as well depending on temperature, I figure due to the expansion/contraction of the parts associated with the area of the leak. If you say your electricals/fuel sys are fine when a shutoff happens, this is the only other cause of a shutoff I can think of.

Problem has been absent for almost two weeks now. So it was most likely one of the grounds that I cleaned up. Which one I'm not sure. So far so good anyway.
