5" is going to be high as hell. Ditch the body lift.
Couple recommendations.
Get a TG front Driveshaft. Dont dink with a square one. They suck.
I just installed my 4.70 gear. Fantastic mod. Much more control.
Upgrade your birfields immediately
Or youll end up like me:

haha that gotta suck. i plan on upgrading sooon but as for the body lift, i know it will be tall but this is allso my daily driver and i want to be able to clear 40's and not have to worry about rubbing no matter what i hit!
i have a 1980 toyota trailblazer to keep low and badass haha. my truck will hit trails everynow and then like i stated before but its mostly mud that it seas because unfortunatelly i have to drive really far to find something to climb! haha i have ridden and driven a 5" trailgear kit with 3"body and it performed just fine. actually it was still awesome haha so im not to worried about it.
as for the 4.7gear did it do anything to you daily driverness? like that gear only comes into play when your in 4 right?

as far as the lift...keep it low and trim
oh and the 1st Gen 3/4 ton sticker is genuine
edit: on the trail gear rear conversion are you using a Line locker for the E-brake or are you going to go with a Sky's or All Pro TC mounted e-brake?

for the rear disc's i just keep it in gear.its flat around here haha dont really have to worry about it. i also found a thread that used your stock park break cable and routed back through the firewall to pull on your brake pedal. you just have to wire a relay that disconects the break lights when this is pulled. very simple stuff

holy crap. so mine will be the same. thats gonna be nice. is it difficult to do? i mean i am pretty sure i can handle it, i just finished a dual transfercase setup in my big crawler. that was interesting. but how long did it take you and how much did it cost?

dude...you'll be able to run more that 40's on this rig with 8" of lift all together lmao.
if you're on the highway alot then you could prolly run 46's lol
i'm soooo in love with this truck though lol

i have a pretty large questin for you guys.
when i pulled my engine the ECU wires had been cut. today i went to solder the wire together but quickly realised that i have 3 out of 4 plugs on my harness. the harness i have has 3 sets of plug wires and the ecu has 4 plugs on it. does n e one know what each of these plugs do?
also, since i was not able to do my soldering because advanced or autozone did not have the size heat shrink that i needed, i did my crossover instead!
oh and i was not able to finish welding it up because i had to bring a friend home. he failed to mention when i went to pick him up that he had plans arounf 5... bulll!
TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

well yes the auto tranny ECU will work...but i've heard it's just an absolute pain in the rear to make it work..
and actually, i'm not even sure if it WILL work.
keep browsing for a manual ECU...check out the junkyards?

this sucks. now that i have my kit, school starts so i basically have no time! and over the past few days i havent had time to even touch my projects. i have no idea what to do with my engine because my toyota machanic is no where to be found, and my engine sounds like its about to blow up. oh and i havent even touched my axle since the kit arrived
