1989 Toyota 4x4 3.0 rebuild questions
I've a 1994 Toyota 4x4 with 4.3 engine straight axle lifted. Any ways I've got this want to trade me 89 Toyota 4x4 with 3.0 5 speed and a 92 toyota 4x4 frame and body . The catch is the 3.0 is bad and the cab needs to be replace with 92 cab. I can do the work I was just wondering how much it cost me to rebuild the 3.0. I'd like to rebuild the 3.0 myself and build it up from bottom to top . I found this site that sells rebuild kits http://www.engnbldr.com/toyota-3.0-v-6.html . Would do yall think ?

No, the 3.0 is called the 3.slow putting quite a bit into it you'll be lucky to see 190 flywheel hp.
The 4.3 was a very popular swap back in the day and for good reason. You ahe done all the hard work on your 94, keep it and don't even consdier that trade unless there is a couple of g's coming your way from taht guy.
For a standard rebuild on the 3.0 your looking at 950-1500 when time and machine work is thrown in to the mix, and you WILL need headers to get rid of the stock crossover or custom welded crossover/y pipe setup.
