So I have a 1986 Toyota pickup with a 22r, and am also very new to mechanical work so bear with me here. I recently got it out of the transmission shop and upon bringing it home more issues began. Firstly it would be super down on power and lurch really bad when going form a stop, but after maybe 2000 rpm and with some speed it would go away. I drove it around the neighborhood three times trying to get used to manual and on the third time it started having more issues. the next day I started it and it began misfiring and smelling like gas. With the help of my brother we found that cylinder #3 is the one misfiring, the corresponding sparkplug was almost wet, it showed signs that the fuel wasn't burning inside the combustion chamber. The exhaust manifold gasket is also leaking. Then the engine is running pretty rich. We just got new spark plugs, fuel filter, and air filter and the problem is still occurring. I guess does anyone have ideas, its not the spark plugs and the wires were working, how well I'm not sure we didn't have a multimeter with us today. If needed I could try and upload a video for extra info. Sorry if I explained things poorly like I said I am pretty new to all this stuff.
