well i jst got done doing my truck with this process. i sorta half-assed mine but i wasn't looking for show quality i more or less just wanted my truck to finally be only one color plus i managed to stay under $100 so its pretty damn good in that case. urs is looking way way way better than mine but whatever. i ended up using interlux brightside, doing two coats and im not wet sanding the final. i spent a little over a week working on it evryday. ill get some pics up soon

no not yet, iv decided to leave it 2wd for an while. its still something ill probably do in the future, it got around pretty good this last winter and when it got too bad out i have the ford that is 4wd, it makes the desert a little more challenging where it can be an bit of an bore in an decent built 4wd, ill probably start doing the swap a little bit at an time, first by adding an 8 inch rear with selectable locker, then transmission and transfer case so i can have 2wd low, then start building an solid front axle for it. its just not top of the priority list right now, ill probably do paint and body work this winter then maybe start the 4wd conversion next summer. if my new tires didn't grip so well i would have probably already started on it or if i didn't have another vehicle that was 4wd. your truck shouldn't be hard to spot around town now that its bright green...lol

Well its done except for the bed liner, I'm going to do the bed and rockers with it next.
The paint turned out all right for a cheap paint job and I am quite happy with it.
Would I do it again? definitely not roll on I would spray next time, I guess it makes no sense to me to spend 15 hours rolling paint when I could spend 1 spraying. I went way over budget but I wanted to do it right.
Here it is finished, haha Toyota's are never finished.

That looks fantastic! I plan on rolling on interlux on my truck, I know its gonna be a week from hell but it seems like the way to go for DIY.
Are you going to do a final cut/polish??
p.s time to paint your grill and front bumper gloss black
p.p.s I like your headlight covers, I wish I could find a set! Ive already cracked one $50 e-code lense...

I am going to make new bumpers next winter after I get back from Iraq. As for the grill I kind of like it and am having a hard time deciding whether or not to paint it. I might keep it and just buy another one to paint black.

Anyone know if you can get a roll-on paint in a flat finish? I'm interested in painting my truck and this process seems to fit the bill. Only thing is I'd like to paint in a flat camouflage beige.
