i would do gears and lockers first and see what your truck will do which will be A LOT!! then after a while i would look into the dual case set up if you think you need it. Very nice rig btw

Differential gears alone will not let it creep along that great, I have 4.88's too and in stock low range it doesn't compare to low low in the dual cases with the 4.88's on top of that. Dual cases are really easy to put together, especially if you can do all the work you've done on your truck already, which btw is pretty badass, what did you build it for? It looks like a desert truck...

ya it was a dessert rat but then 2 years ago I drove to cali to get it and drug it back to oklahoma to be a fun truck. I took it out a few times muddin because thats what there is close to the house and blew the motor in the river so I decided to put a chevy motor with double the hp in it rather than rebuilding and putting bolt ons and a turbo or blower. then I wanted bigger tires so im all about go big or go home theory so I put chevy 3/4 ton axels under it and some 38s. So now its a desert/rock/mud truck I dont like to be tied down to just one thing. What all is involved in putting a dual together I have a stock 5 speed with chain driven t case most the kits ive looked at say you need a gear driven case and i dont really want to buy a whole new trans but if I have to then I guess I will

You dont need a new trans, mission, just another t case. and you need 2 to make a dual set up ( dual =2, get it? )

You can pick up a used t-case between $50-150 dual adaptor $330 a 23 spline kit $350-450 drivelines $500 (you may or may no need rear cv depends on wheelbase, lift, and overall driveline angles) you will want some sort of skid plate $200-350, you'll need to ankle the motor mounts $0.75-100 depending on bling factor.

Regearing and lockers for fullsize domestic axles???? I'm still all Toy there.
