1/4" wheel spacers....

I bought an 86 4x4 and I noticed that at max angle the wheel just barely touches the steering. I believe they have the wrong offset. I have some 1/4" spacers. Any issues with using them ? Do I use all 4 or just the fronts? Thanks.

The spacers will stress your wheel bearings and hubs a little more but 1/4” but it won’t be as bad as some of the 2”-3” spacers i’ve seen people use.

The biggest problem I have seen first hand with the smaller ones like you have is the amount of stud leftover to bolt your wheels onto. Especially with some aftermarket wheels. You’ll have 1/4” less stud for your wheels to bolt onto and sometimes it’s pretty hard get the wheels back on, or if you stack two to make 1/2” spacers on the front you might not be able to bolt the wheel on.

Youll just have to mess with it a little and see what works.
