Throttle position sensor

Long story short, replaced head gaskets and truck sat for a while beforehand. Truck will start and will not idle. The idle adjustment screw does nothing. I've cleaned the port, put new o ring on the idle screw and all. I've replace the VAFM because it was definitely bad.

I was asking and testing the TPS too see if that might be the issue. I can get it adjusted and from idl-e2 the measurements/readings are right but from vc-e2 I get nothing but infinity and vca-e2 it reads till about 3/4 throttle and then infinity. Is my TPS bad? I'm assuming it is but figured talk would have more input.

Given the results of your ohm testing, and looking at the schematic of it, it sure sounds to me like the variable resistor, or potentiometer if you prefer, is burned open at the E2 end.
Long way of saying YES,, it's bad, and needs replacement.

Does this help?

I figured as much but wondered if someone else might know better. I'm looking online for one now.

Did you ever find out the problem?? I'm literally having the same exact issue, except the engine lights.
