There are bolts that hold the rotor to the hub?? I dont think you need those...I was always under the impression that the wheel held the rotor to the hub! Unless you have the bearing races built into the hums, then the nut and cottor pin hold it in right??
What kind of truck is it?

The rotor does bolt to the wheel hub with 2 bolts and then has 6 wheel studs drive through it. I don't know that it is that big of an issue since the 6 wheel studs hold it on by themselves. A new wheel hub shouldn't be hard to find.
And there are no 1/2" wide bolts on a Toyota.

O.K. the brake caliper has 4 bolts in it. 2 at each end that go from one side to the other side of the caliper. Then there are 2 bolts that are closer together that bolt to the knuckle to hold (what iam guessing) the caliper in place. Those are the ones that are stripped, the previous owner just placed the two 1/2 bolts in place to get it to my house. So can I drill/tap the knuckle? Or do I have another option?
