steering linkage problems
i bought 2" blocks fo rmy 85PU and the passenger side went on fine, no problems.. when we got to the driver side we found out that the steering linkage sits aomost on top of my stock leafs, so once we put the block on it the link hits the leaf.. the steering is all put together stupid. so how does anyone lift that truck with them setup like that?

That is one reason why you don't run lift blocks on the front end. Get some lift springs. OME makes a nice 2" lift spring kit:

With 3"-4" of lift, you can convert to crossover steering and get rid of the stock push-pull setup:

Blocks on the front? Seriously?
If you can't afford to lift it right the first time, why not just wait? Is a lift really that important?
You need to save up and get some 3-4" lift springs. The Toyota steering is a great setup, but you will need a drop steering arm too. The only other option is to install crossover steering.
