Has anyone done a power steering conversion on an 84 pickup with solid axle and used a box other than a toyota power steer box? My truck is manual steer and it sucks. In my area there is not really many toyota trucks to rob parts from. I do have plenty of chevy 4x4 boxes ect... I will most likely need to add power steering pump and custom brackets since we dont have this style truck in wrecking yards around here. Thinking 80s gm pump with tank body. Thoughts anyone?
