spark plug smoking

spark plug smoking

just put new spark plugs and wires on and now for some reason one of them is smoking what would cause this problem.

Are you sure you tightened the spark plugs all down correctly? (don't overtighten)

2nd'd... There's a compression washer on the plug that needs to be - compressed - in order for the seal to work. The washer will provide a good bit of resistance when you're tightening down the plug, but not as tight as when the plug is actually torqued up.

Be careful, you can over-tighten the plug, but you do have to make it through the initial resistance of the washer before things will work right.
