Ride Quality mods. Zuk vs. Shackles vs. 63s
Crew,
The old 4Runner hasn't gotten much love in a while aside from oil changes and fill-ups. Earning around 17 mpg for a lot of mixed driving in and around traffic to include a stretch of interstate. I'm pretty happy with it.
But the roads around here aren't the best.
I've done the Zuk mod and am very happy with the ride height on the rear end. I don't want to reintroduce the sag.
Would I get a smoother ride by going to longer shackles and ditching the coils?
I've heard 63s and RUF are the smoothest options while maintaining close to stock height. Is this true?

I have never been in a vehicle that has had a Zuk Mod done so I cant comment on if it is better riding than a longer shackle. My gut reaction tells me the Zuk Mod would ride better than a longer shackle.
As far as the 63, I have 63s on my 88 and i can clear 35s, def higher than stock.
