Rear power window relay acting weird

I was working on my 85 4runner putting in a rear wiper arm. The wiper motor wouldn't work. I found that someone had disconnected it between the body and shell. When I plugged it back together, the rear window wouldn't work. Disconnect the wiper motor, and it works. When connected, the relay clicks but nothing happening. I have no idea what is going on or what the previous owners did to the truck, but ideas are appreciated.

If wiper arm is not all the way up a position sensor won't let the window move.

Ok, now I'm embarrassed. The motor was mid-way through the stroke, and it wasn't hitting the disconnect button.

I should pay more attention next time!

Thanks
