Rear bumper ideas

I want a new rear bumper to replace my factory one. I want something that is tough and non tube. My requirements:

Must have two D rings
Must be able to leave license plate in stock location
Black

It looks like I'm going to have to have something fabbed up. Any pictures of custom bumpers would help. The Warn bumper for the 89-95 trucks is the look I want.

Well, for about $150, you can get a new bumper from the 89-95 truck in black. Comes wi th brackets and all new bolts. Its tough, the tow rating on it is good for 3500 lbs with a 350 lb tounge weight. But it wont have the 2 D rings though. Maybe add something or a receiver hitch for your tow eye?

The '89-'95 rear bumper will likely fit your truck. Frame rails are the same width and as far as I can tell, have the same holes and what not. Might be worth looking at one and see if it'll work.

I made my own rear bumper after first buying a pre-made one:

marlincrawler and few others make nice custom bumpers, they're pricey tho.

I don't even run a bumper, just a bumper mount bracket off the stock bumper (which the P/O freakn hit so it was bent and hideous). the bracket is for a tow-pt for when i get stuck ... only been hauled out 3 times, damnit, im not trying hard enough to get stuck!
