Quiet muffler, good flow?

I need a quite muffler for my 22RE 2.25" exhaust, but I don't want to sacrifice good flow.
Any suggestions?

Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler from Summit Racing. Dont use the one spec'ed for Toyotas, rather search by inlet/outlet size. I think this is close to what you want http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I put this on with a cheap custom pipe job. it flows real well, not too loud for me. the magnaflow mufflers were too loud for me.

good header like LCE or Thorley does more than a muffler for flow, in my experience.

Spin Tech Mufflers

these give a nice deep sound without being loud - they're also pretty stout as far as metal thickness etc., so they last a long time. I ran one on a previous project and wish I would have bought another instead of my Flowmaster 50 series (which is also a good muffler though)

I am currently running a Pacesetter header with the Dynomax Super Turbo
It is a good setup for flow and performance but very loud and buzzy. I want quite low rumble without sacrificing performance.
If the magnaflow is louder than the Dynomax.... anyone running a 22RE thats not buzzy?

if you want quiet, then get a stock replacement or larger of same build. it'll work just fine.

if you want performance, then you have to compromise noise level. i think the dynomax, which is made by walker, is a decent compromise. the 'wide open' style is louder, and the one i had was buzzy-loud, i took it off within 5 miles.
