I have power windows in the 85 runner i have and I'm starting to miss those triangle "smoker" windows from my last 4runner.

Has anyone tried combining the two? Could I keep the current doors that I have and just install the windows from a manual door with the smoker window...and also have the main window still be powered?

 

It could probably be done, but it would be more work than its worth.

 

I've got power windows with wind wings, on my 87. I'm sure you could find a set somewhere.

 

And probably, You will have to find the power regulators for the wind wing windows if they are different than the non power ones, check the classifieds on here and your local craigslist for cars parting out.

 

i have a wing window with frame and all, working condition, but only 1, they are NOT out of a power window truck though, pm me if your interested....

 

I can connect you up to the power window and regulator for the drivers side.

Yoda Jim's has the motor and power regulator for $50. I accidently had them pull the parts from the wrong side to help another member.

Stay in touch if you want to pursue this. You could be very custom with wing window and power window on just the drivers side!
