Popping noise when going slow
Hey guys,Im getting a popping noise now when coming to a stop in my 85 toyota, taking off in slower speeds and holding the truck on larger inclines. This happens when Im in neutral and in gear, but once I get rolling past 3rd gear the noise usually goes away until I have to slow down again. The noise is a popping sound that occurs in no particular order, like they're not consecutive. Anyways, I recently just got 35s and havent regeard yet, so Im wondering if this has anything to do with it. My center link is also bent a bit, but its been like that before the tires, so not sure if this has anything to do with it.
I recently did a knuckle rebuilt kit, with new brake hardware and put in a new(from the junkyard) steering box(no hysteer) and rebuilt the factory drag link.
The sound is fairly similiar to when the vehicle is parked on an incline and you put it in gear instead of using the parking brake, and when you release the brake the small amount of give that occurs, that noise is the similiar to this.
