Harsh would be a improvement. i have to carry like 300lbs of weight in the back just so its a alright ride.

My 85 Xtracab,22r

Built 3 years ago by a guy outside Halifax NS..its my personal toy..mud days are over for it..nice comfy heated garage now..

Here's my 85. Rufs, 5.29s, lock rights, Rock Assault front housing, IFS Rear. 24.5" frame heights on the front. The bed will soon be bobbed and doved to fit my 40s.

Nothing wrong with that. It looks good. Did u drill ur spring perches to keep ur axle back a bit or did u use the factory hole? I'm planning on putting rufs in mine soon and just curious as to the placement.

I actually have it in the rear hole on the perch on the TG housing. I was surprised it's not further forward. I still need to move the steering box further forward

Looks like that's how he gained his suspension lift. It's an easy way to gain height but the suspension is still going to act like stock.

I cheated and bought a built one couple weeks ago.




I sold those tires and wheels going with something a tad shorter and a good bit narrower. I have Maxxis 255/85/16 on the way to go on 02 Tundra 5 spoke alloys. Has 5.29s air lockers front and back, 63" chevy, rear disk, longfield outers, sliders and 4" from TG springs
