Thanks for the heads up. I really thought my friend's 83 had an even shorter bed. I guess I'm wrong. That pic makes the bed look shorter than it is because of the perspective, though. The PO swears that the motor was rebuilt around 40k ago. It runs perfectly. It has very little rust for the southeast but isn't a perfect as it looks in that picture. I'm also finding some Bondo chipping out of a few places. I'm going to run through lots of stuff on it so I feel confident in its reliability. It's going to be my daily driver and and occasional wheeler. I'm thinking that I want to start a build thread for it even though I'm not really going to be doing anything crazy to it except maintenance and body stuff for a while.

OM617 MB 5 cyl turbo diesel
Using tdswaps.com full kit.

That thing is killer. That snow plow is not something I'd ever need here in the south, but it looks like you're getting some good use there. Sweet!

I will sell the bed, but you'd have to come get it. I don't know what they go for.

Got my LED tail lights temporarily mounted (used a converter box so I could just run one light per side), I am so ready to start construction of the bed..

Also, if yall are talking about the bumper on my truck, it is a custom one the PO either built or had built. I'm probably going to either modify it or remove it and build me a new one.

My 84 when it was a trail rig only and him now as a daily drive without the 3"body lift

Soon to be paint in beige to get it cleaner mainly when it's dirty and sit on 33s bfg AT on 15x7 toyota aluminium wheels cause it's suposedly still too high. I've to make it cleaner for the cops of my country cause they love mecanical inspections. It was the second time i had to avoid one with a little trick and money. But i understand them and try to make it cleaner sooner as my wallet can.

I wouldn't say "ruined", but genetically enhanced to be different. It still looks good to me.
