Question Over Heated

I hope someone out there can direct me in the right direction? this morning on my way to work my truck overheated badly so I pulled over and lever vented the steam out of my radiator until I could open the cap and she was bone dry....so I poured in the water and started her up but it all pumped itself out of the radiator as if the faucet was on. So i waited again topped it off then capped it and rode to work quickly (17 miles from home). What can it be??

A hole in the system? That's really the only thing I can think of, because there is no way to lose that much fluid that fast. Look under the truck and around the engine bay to see if you can spot any leaks...
