Need help w/a decision quickly

Here's a quick question. I have an 85 extracab w/110,000 original miles w/22r engine in it. The truck is in pretty good condition for how old it is. Especially the undercarriage and all the parts underneath.

I just sold an 85 extra-cab today that was beat to hell.

I have fount another 85 extra-cab SR5 EFI w/212,000
They say it has no leaks
Body is straight w/little rust (no dents)
Comes w/canopy
Power windows
Good heater
Passed emissions until next sept.
Said ,"the interior isn't bad, but afterall it is 23-24 yrs old"
Extra set of tires and wheels

There are three options here:
I buy the Red truck and keep it (SR5) and sell the Blue one (original 110k miles)

I buy the red truck, take everything out of it and put it in the blue one (SR5 items and the EFI system) and put the replaced parts of the blue truck in the red one including the carb system and then sell off the RED truck

I don't buy it and keep the truck I have now (blue) and convert it to EFI hopefully this summer.

Someone please help me w/this decision. It's tough

Also, are there any 22R-TE engines out there in 85?

Well, of course only you can decided...if I had the extra money to throw around I'd buy the truck and keep my old one. Always nice to have a parts truck. If all you really want is SR5 stuff and EFI, depending on what they're asking for the truck, and money's tight, you can find SR5 stuff and an EFI engine for possibly cheaper than a whole truck. Then agian, if the truck is a good price, it may be cheaper than buying little parts here and there so...depends on how good the price of the truck is. I personally, for the right price, would much rather buy a whole truck that I want a lot of parts off of. If money's tight, stop being stupid and stick with the truck you've got and stop looking at the classifieds! If you've got money, hell, why not?

212,000...even with no leaks...If I was pulling it out to put in my truck...in my mind it's time for a rebuild if I'm doing all that work anyways, but that's up to you. Something to keep in mind. It's a Toyota but unless it's had a timing chain & head gasket job done in the last 50,000 or so miles...I'd expect that it will soon need at least those things done.

I wasn't going to swap the entire engine. Only the efi components because the engine I have in the other truck has very few miles in it.

It's done and over. I decided it was something I didn't need. I want to get a 4runner instead of the xtra-cab I have. I have my eyes open for one now, but i think it will be some time before I find one.
