My '85 4x4 Custom Cab
Been working on the truck lately. This forum was helpful. Thought I would share a couple of photos of my '85 Custom Cab. Purchased new back then. Here it is at a boy scout summer camp early in June.
We even received some snow on the third night. Pretty cool for the Mountains of New Mexico.

It's the 22RE model.
No. I purchased it new in 1985 in New Mexico.
As for the look, it still looks a little long and funny to me. I purchased it because I had just finished college, started a new job the year before, had one infant in the family and I figured if I wanted a 4x4 PU it needed to seat more than two.
It does look a little better now. On the way home from the campout shown, it blew a rear tire. This was the second time I had flat with Pathfinder tires. I put on some new BF Goodrich All-Terrains, LT31x10.5s.

No. Done by a company named "Custom Fab" in CA. Truck was converted before it was sold to me at the local Toyota dealer.
First time I saw one was at the 1984 International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM. I got mine the next year, after I found the dealer that sold them.
