Just curious....

I have two questions. First off, is the front carrier on a base model solid axle an open differential or does it have some sort of limited slip? I'm pretty sure its open, but I want to double check.

Also, is it possible to use a rear carrier in a front axle? My reasoning is that the only difference is axle shaft length, but again, I wanted more input.

Thanks.

Peace.

Adios.

yes it is open and yes you can put the rear in the front.
