jonney or heim???

when i got my truck the previous owner installed a ladder bar. and now the joints are clanking around like crazy!! soo anoying. i'm not to sure weather these are jonneys or heims... can someone help me out????

oh and can someone tell me why he would have put a grease nipple in the middle of the bar??????? doesn't make any sense to me.

Those are heim joints. Johnny joints look like this.


Here are some Johnny Joints on some extreme duty lower link bars I'm building for my 93 4Runner.

thanks to me they look like they are not threaded... i guess i cant rebuild them. only why to fix the problem is to cut them out and get some new ones???

Most heim joints I've seen have either a male or female thread.
They should be able to be changed.
