so i decided to relocate my rear window and wiper switches. after i did my auto to manual swap 2 yrs ago i got the wrong console. it was for a pickup so it had no openings for the switches. so i havent used the switches since, until today.




i started takin pics after the cutting and soldering waas done, but those 2 wires to the left of the shifters are the lengthened sections.dont ask me why i decided to go with connectors on the other end, i guess i was tired of soldering. i then ran them up to the radio bezel and used the 2 holes that were there for whatever reason, but im glad theyre there.



so there it is and it works , its nice to be able to roll the rear window down from inside again.

on a side note for any of you with switches that dont work anymore and think you need a new one, just take it apart and clean it. i thought mine was broken then realized these things really have nothing to break internally, theyre just too simple a switch. mine was full of crud, spilled pop and other drinks, once i cleaned it it worked like new.
