Gasket Sealer Air Hoses?
I'm replacing a cracked throttle body intake boot on an 85 22r-e and I'm wondering if I should put some gasket sealer or something on the inside of the new boot or if I'm good to just clamp it on.

A very light smear of grease might be appropriate.
I even used it on the o-ring in the throttle body that controls the idle speed. Haven't a bit of trouble out of it, and it's original.
I got the Vaseline trick from a guy that replaced my house's water system's filters once. He told me to put Vaseline on the o-rings. He'd been doing home water systems for years. The water in Yuma is terrible, so he did a lot of systems!.
I did, and never had one go bad, that wasn't my fault for pinching it or something. Works great on rubber hoses, o-rings, etc in vehicles, too. Not rubber in contact with gasoline, however. Other than that...
Good luck!
