Is this the fuel line for the fuel inlet pump or return

Is this the fuel line for the return fuel or the inlet on the pump. I think it is the return, but I just want to make sure. It is the one that doesn't have a plug on it and has the red wire wrapped around it.

that is the return on my 85 with a mechanical pump. The one with a cap went to a charcoal canister I believe.
