Wow, a new Toyota pickup for under 10k! Even with inflation this would be like $17,500 in 2020 dollars. I can't find anything cheaper than 26k on the Toyota website now. I think this was about as basic of a model as you could get, but I guess they did splurge for the metallic paint and weather guard package!
I just thought it was cool that this was still in the glove box when I was cleaning it out and I figured that someone else might get a kick out of it.
I think it should have been criminal to sell any vehicles without AC standard. My 93 pickup doesn't have any AC and it is a hell getting through rush hour traffic in the hot summer heat. I kind of appreciate the added simplicity of not having an AC system, and I get acclimated to hot weather really fast, but it still sucks really bad.
