i found a local with a pretty much stock 4x4 4runner, 22re, 147k, manual body/paint not bad (front fender has a ding). I havent gone to see it yet, but was wondering if anyone thought 2000 bucks was a reasonable price if it is mechanically fit.

Any thoughts on this, or things I should specifically look for when I go to check it out?

The interior will probably be the clincher... but 147k is not very high miles, it's prob a pretty good deal!

yeah, thats a pretty good deal. Be sure to drive it, though, and make sure it isn't totally trashed on the inside. I'd say go for it if those things seem good. Pretty low miles.
