Finished Painting.....
Went from this
Installed my toyotafiberglass.com drivers side rear quarter. The panel fit great, I also used 3M 5200 to attach it to the truck. It was cheaper than the $500.00 tube of glue they wanted at the paint store. I think the 5200 was $14.00 dollars a tube. I used Parker Coatings sand tan duck boat paint with a harbor freight purple spray gun. It turned out really good, no runs everything is even.
I'm looking for input on what the color for the top (black or tan) and mirrors the towing style mirrors (black or tan)

Yes the rear quarter was extremely easy to repair with the panel from toyotafiberglass. I chose to replace mine with the fiberglass panel because I had major rust around the bottom of the wheel well and the top rail. The good thing about the panel is all you have to do is attach it with the adhesive do a little body filler, sand, prime and paint. I wish I did both sides with the fiberglass panel, but I didn't need it. If you do it use the 3m 5200, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and if it's good enough for boat makers to use it on fiberglass boats it's got to be good enough for the toyota.

You apply the adhesive to all contact areas. The inner fender well touches the panel, so it gets sealed by the adhesive. Behind the panel I also applied seam sealer for extra security. When you are finished with the panel everything is sealed up. You do have to apply the adhesive to bare metal which I hope doesn't create moisture some how and rot out over the next couple years. Time will tell.

looks great Rich .. I tried to "sell" you on both panels , but 'sall good
not sure about your "glue" choice though , that product remains flexable , much like a calking .. I guess only time will tell

Anyone have a good vendor for brand new weather stripping? I was attempting to put stuff back together today and all the stuff I took off is junk. Mostly the stuff for the doors and windows is what I'm looking for.

I replaced both my doors stripping, all the way around, for pretty cheap, through my local yard. Just had to go through everything they had, and found a Calif. car with low miles, great rubber, .... worked out great..... and MUCH cheaper.

I found the seal that goes around the door online for $65 you get both left and right side but not the seals that go inside the door for the window or the outer seal for the window those are the two that I'm most concerned with. I hate old anything!!
