Edelbrock shocks

Does anyone know if edelbrock makes a shock a first gen 4runner with a 4" lift?

I had these shocks before i lifted my runner and loved them. I thought they used to make a 4" lift model but can't find a listing for one anywhere.

I don't know about 1st gen but I can tell you that they no longer make them for 2nd gen.

I *just* went through this whole mess last week and the worst part is they (Edelbrock) really screwed up on this one because all of their resellers are still selling the 2nd gen shocks, taking and placing orders for them but Edelbrock has ceased production of the 2nd gen IAS shocks altogether.

I got caught up in all this and had to push them *hard* on things to get them to honor the 'back order' I had with them through 4Wheel Parts. I just got my 4th and final IAS shock yesterday and was told by an Edelbrock Manager that I got the last one 'in the system'.

Best thing I can tell you is don't pay anybody for Toyota IAS shocks unless they can place their hands on them because it appears Edelbrock doesn't have its act together and is stopping production on IAS shocks that are not selling too well but not informing the resellers like 4WP, Desert Rat and many others - go ahead and call them up, they will all tell you that they don't have any but they can get some. Then call Edelbrock and ask them about your PN#'s - the CSR may or may not tell you the truth but if you ask them to verify the expected shipping dates...or better yet, ask to speak to a manager then you will eventually be informed there are no more being made for the 2nd gen Toyotas due to lack of sales.

Sucks too because they are great shocks - if you cant get IAS I'd go with Billy's from PP using the buy 4 get 10% off deal since it comes out to about 4@$240 + S&H

Good Luck
