Dumb but I think quick question

Trying to wire my ECM back up, just a basic computer right, only one pin supplies power to the whole thing? And any pins that give resistance are supplying power correct?

As far as I recall, yes, there is one pin for power in to the ECM. There's a couple of grounds, too. I think. There are a large number of signal inputs and outputs, but I'm pretty sure just one B+ and 2 grounds. The B+ pin should read the same voltage to ground as the battery has across it. I believe there's a body ground point near to the ECM, under the kick panel that it uses. It's prone to corrosion due to water intrusion.

Just as a side note, it is really helpful to us, to help you, if you provide us some basic information of your truck. Year, engine version, auto or manual transmission, 2 or 4 WD, etc etc. Most of us put that stuff in our sig, so it's readily available to all.

Is this any help?
